  2. I'm from Southwest Missouri and all my Dad's family is from Arkansas...boston mtns to fayettville. My husb.and I moved to Tennessee 2 yrs ago but before that, we went to Eureka Springs at least once a year for weekends alone...and my "girlfriends" get together in Hot Springs every may for a getaway. I really miss Eureka Springs and I wish it wasn't so far away now.

  3. My parents were RV-ing in north west AK (was that the name of that town??) last spring. They had just set up camp when my dad had a stroke right there! My mom called the ambulance and they med-flighted him to Springfield to the Cox center.

Fortunately, Dad is doing really well now, but he had to stay in MO for about a month. I just can't say enough about how nice everyone was where you live. I blogged about it in my "When it Pours" post at www.thewritesteph.com

    Blessings,
    Stephanie
