Our vacation to Colorado is coming soon. We are making plans and thinking about which spots we want to visit. So, that makes me realize just how few photos have been published from our trip to Dauphin Island. EESH! That trip was way back in February. It's never too late to post about an Alabama Vacation, right?
We loved the sunny afternoon we spent at Fort Gaines for a self guided tour. Y'all know how I love old architecture.
On top of the walls, the views of the ocean are spectacular.
Our favorite part of the day, though, was the blacksmith demonstration.
The blacksmith portion of Fort Gaines was recently repaired and is being used again. Handsome Husband purchased a gorgeous hand wrought meat hook that now hangs in our kitchen.
