You're the Star Blog Hop - December - Week 4
Many of you know I've switched jobs. My new schedule allows much more time for crafting and Bible journaling. If you visit my link party on Tuesdays, you've been seeing my Bible scribbles and illustrations. Thankfully, I'm getting a small stockpile of pages, so plan to share one on Mondays, too!
This one was created using a watercolor tutorial from Scribbling Grace Blog called Easy Abstract Florals. Markers were used for details and outlines.

Frosty Morning Kitchen Towels
There was a lovely snowfall here this week. The roads are clear now, but the trees and grass are still covered in white glitter. Our forecast has more snow predicted for tonight! Did I mention how much I love snow? 'Probably because we don't get it very often here. It feels like such a joyous treat when everything is shimmering with tiny ice crystals!

Tuesdays with a Twist #398 - Link Up with Us!
Our news this week... I've had some more time for Bible journaling! It's a wonderful way to worship! My illustration is watercolor raindrops. A youtube video helped me with drawing a girl with an umbrella on a separate paper which was then cut and glued onto the Bible page. Today's verse is Romans 8:26 :: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Tuesdays with a Twist #397 Let's party!!
Our news this week... I've had some time for Bible journaling. This page was created using a paper napkin, some snowflake punches and a little lettering. There are some snowflakes stamped along the left side in silver, but they are difficult to see. The suggested verse was Ezekiel 36:26 :: I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. When I read the chapter though, verse 25 was leaping from the page.
I am so glad you are here to party today! There is no limit on links as long as they are family friendly including giveaways, Etsy shops and other link parties. Please remember to visit some fellow party animals and leave positive comments!

Grati-tutu-de, A Vintage Doll's Ensemble for November
Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Even though we won't be hosting as many guests this year, we will be grateful to see each person! Have you decided what to wear yet? My maternal grandmother frequently told me, "You'll never regret looking your best." I haven't chosen my outfit yet, but my vintage doll is dressed and ready for company!

A Second Watering Can Restoration
What is is about watering cans? I just love their shape. These are the size of children's toys. With a little paint and some pretty washi tape, they've become planters. If you would like to see my first transformation of the shorter, rounder watering can, just click HERE. The second restoration was completed this summer, but I'm just now posting about it.

Tuesdays with a Twist #395 Let's Party!
Our news this week... These adorable elves came for a visit and wanted to decorate for Christmas. After all the options had been drug from the storage closet, each one chose a small tree and relatively monochromatic theme. Handsome Husband pulled sleds from the garage for tree stands. Santa's helpers also set up our Christmas village and snowman collection on every single flat surface of our living room. Thankfully, I've already done some shopping and wrapping. When these darlings weren't looking, I slipped a couple of gifts for them under their trees. We usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving to begin Christmas, but it's hard to say "no" to these sweet girls! When do you prefer to begin Christmas decorating?

Tuesdays with a Twist #394 Link Party
Our news this week... My tropical plants have been moved to the safety of our greenhouse. Baskets of annuals are left outside. I'm still watering them, but they are looking pretty tired. These calibrachoa continue receiving honey bee visitors. We've enjoyed their deep red color all summer.

Tuesdays with a Twist #393
Our news this week... If you are one of my friends from the US, I have to ask if you've voted yet. Whether you are on the red team or on the blue team, please vote. This is it, the last day. I'm very curious to see who will win. This election, once again, could go either way. It is my hope that winning teams will be humble and losing teams will be gracious. 2020 sure has added a lot to the history books.

You're the Star - November - Week 1
Before we continue onto the Linky party I wanted to remind anyone inside the US to vote, if you haven't already! Once the election results are announced, I am hoping there will be humble winners as well as gracious losers.

Tuesdays with a Twist #391
Our news this week... Our weather has been chilly with drizzling rain. The Autumn leave are spectacular against the gray skies.
This scribble is inside my Bible journal, 100 Days to Dream your Heart Out, by Katy Fults. One of the verses on Day 54 is Song of Solomon 4:7 "You are absolutely beautiful, my darling."

Just a little bit Wicked
There are those who think my vintage doll is creepy, but if you've read my blog for very long, you already know she was a sentimental gift, and I think she is absolutely darling! I'd like to convince you that her costumes are for the granddaughters, but if we're being honest, I love playing with her, too!

Tuesdays with a Twist #389 - It's a link party!
Our news this week... Weekend weather was gorgeous again! I worked on cleaning spent foliage AND planted 155 tulip bulbs. (Hopefully winter will be what they need for a vibrant Spring bloom!) After that, a thick layer of mulch was spread on the front flower beds facing our street.

You're the Star - September - Week 4
The new version of blogger is making me kind of crazy. There's a funny saying about old dogs and new tricks, but I don't really want to talk about it. ;-)
