Just a little bit Wicked

There are those who think my vintage doll is creepy, but if you've read my blog for very long, you already know she was a sentimental gift, and I think she is absolutely darling!  I'd like to convince you that her costumes are for the granddaughters, but if we're being honest, I love playing with her, too!

The Pumpkin Patch Tutu made its debut in September for the Dollar Store Craft Challenge.  If you would like to see how I made it, just click HERE! Her onesie and pants were already in her basic wardrobe.  The baby witch bonnet was sewn using the same pattern as our Garden Gnome Hats worn on Halloween four years ago.

That small broom was created five years go with twigs and spent stems from my garden.  If you'd like to see how I did it, just click HERE.  My little black cat was painted waaaaaay before I ever began blogging and remains one of my favorite items for Halloween!  I almost forgot to tell you about her slippers!  They whipped together quickly.  The soles are black felt and the upper is soft black fleece.  Black ballet flats have been a wonderful classic for how many years.  We all need a pair of those, right?

So, here she is ready for any October outing and just a little bit wicked!

  1. This is a darling Halloween doll! I don't think she looks creepy at all. You did a wonderful job making her clothes and dressing her up
