Tropical Cosmetic Bag for our Cutie Pie

Sadly, my Facebook Account has been hacked.  Hopefully, it can be retrieved, but my post is not quite complete.

You've been introduced to our adorable granddaughter multiple times.  When she was a chunky monkey baby, she was referred to as "Chubby Fashionista".  Isn't she beautiful?

Tote with Pockets

Walking into church, juggling my Bible and purse, picking up a bulletin AND trying to shake hands is very difficult for me.  I'm just not that coordinated.  LOL!

My solution?  Sewing this cute tote bag with lots of pockets!

The Creative Soul's Burlap Bumblebee

Have you been to downtown Muskogee, Oklahoma lately?  Well, I recently spent a few relaxing hours there in this incredible studio.

Gussied Up Hand Towels

We all love a simple, classic, white hand towel, don't we?  What's not to like?  These happen to be from the bargain area at the front of my local Target store.  I remember being so happy with the price, I bought a whole handful of them!  I don't, however, remember exactly how long we've had these classics.

Sewing Fabric Flowers for an Autumn Wreath

This is such a fun project for me!  When our grand daughters were younger, I made so many of these fabric flowers for them to wear on headbands.  Some where HUGE looked more like fascinators than bows!

Stretching the Life of Toss Pillows

In our old rock farmhouse, these colors of barn red, wheat and various browns will always have a home.  These toss pillows have been lounging on a sofa and rocking chair during the darker days of winter.  They could snuggle into a closet, but I'd like to keep that space for other things.

Sewing with Friends

March has been a lovely month for sewing!

You may have noticed MY POST published early this morning!

Sewing with Bandanas

Every dapper cowboy knows this is a classic accessory staple.  These days, bandanas are available in just about every pattern and color imaginable.  I really appreciate the low price of $1 each and love that the edges are already hemmed.

So much Fabric, So little Time

Many of you know I enjoy participating in monthly challenges with bloggers who are much more talented.  I wasn't super committed to January's soiree because the theme was organization.  Heaven knows I need more that in my life, especially in the bedroom dedicated to crafts.  It is always a wreck.  All.  Ways.  A.  Wreck.

So, it was overwhelming to consider getting something completed on a specific deadline.

Just a little bit Wicked

There are those who think my vintage doll is creepy, but if you've read my blog for very long, you already know she was a sentimental gift, and I think she is absolutely darling!  I'd like to convince you that her costumes are for the granddaughters, but if we're being honest, I love playing with her, too!

Easter Bonnet for Baby and De Stash Challenge Blog Hop

This vintage doll was a gift from my Fabulous Aunt to our sweet little grand daughters and their favorite toy at my house.  No matter what she is wearing, they must change her clothes immediately upon their arrival.

Winter Ensemble for a Vintage Doll - De Stash Challenge

Every month a group of bloggers are challenged by C'mon Get Crafty to create a new craft or project from their own stash of goodies! Everyone is allowed a $10 allowance for necessities to complete their project (i.e. paint brushes, glue, etc), but the bulk of it must be created from their own stash of goodies.

Who's Mug Rug is This? craft room de stash challenge

You may or may not remember THIS POST where I made some simple mug rugs for my husband and daughter to practice my beginner quilting skills using fabric from my stash.

At the end of the post, a sneak peek was offered for my sister's mug rug and everyone was invited back to see it in just a couple of days.

Mug Rugs for the De Stash Challenge and Blog Hop

I've dipped into my fabric stash again.  This time for Mug Rugs.  "What is a Mug Rug?", you might ask.
