Tuesdays with a Twist Goodbye, March!

Our news this week...  It's that time of year when our weather really bounces around.  Saturday was gorgeous!  I spent the afternoon with my Mom at Terra Studios, strolling thru their grounds and gallery.  Sunday was cold and drizzling rain.  We built a fire in our wood stove and mostly stayed inside.  'Hoping for more Spring weather soon!  Remember, the Welcome Spring Link Party continues thru April 19!  I hope you have time to visit and enjoy the Spring Time theme!

I am so glad you are here to party today!  There is no limit on links as long as they are family friendly including giveaways, Etsy shops and other link parties.  Please remember to visit some fellow party animals and leave positive comments!

DIY Envelopes - Pinterest Challenge

I am so excited about this post, as it is my first time to participate with this amazing group of bloggers!  The purpose of the Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you, too) to not just pin, but to make it happen!

Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop, hosted by My Pinterventures.

So this month, I chose to make DIY Envelopes inspired by THIS PIN from Craftify My Love.  She does the math for fractions and everything!  ;-)  Wow!

Anyone who can do math for fractions seriously impresses me!

Spring Chicken - Monthly Craft Room Destash Challenge

It's so much fun to not only see all the de-stash projects, but to get a peak into everyone's crafty supplies.  You might remember my September De Stash when you saw that gourds are a big chunk of mine!  Today's project transforms one of them into a

Tuesdays with a Twist

Our news this week...  Weather has been back and forth.  While it was warm, I planted a few things inside my greenhouse.  In the garden, only potatoes, chard and snow peas have in the soil.  We'll see if the weather cooperates for them or not!  ;-)  Very soon gardening season will be upon us!  What do you like to plant?  When the weather was cooler, I downloaded vacation pix.

Fitness after 50. Flexibility & Free Yoga

So, I've been writing some posts about fitness even though I am not an expert in the field.  What works for me.  They began weekly, but have been pretty hit and miss lately.  It all began as a way to talk about recovering from two surgeries in 2016.

Tuesdays with a Twist and Rainbow Unicorns

Our news this week...  We are quite the party animals, celebrating another adorable birthday!  This time the theme was Rainbow Unicorns with a great job on the decorations!  'So cute!  All the little girls seemed to have a great time making bracelets, decorating cupcakes, squealing and giggling.  ;-)  Is giggling The Universal Female Language?  ;-)

Travels with Marci at Cane Hill College

My full time job (besides blogging) has me on the road quite a bit these days, regularly buzzing around eight different counties here in Arkansas.  I am so very blessed to live in a beautiful area.  When something catches my eye, I snap a picture with my phone.  On this particular day, though, I had my big camera with me so the shots are a little better quality.  ;-)

Book Review: The Saints' Little Book of Wisdom

compiled by Andrea Kirk Asaf

A partial synopsis from Bas Bleu:  “No one heals himself by wounding another.” —St. Ambrose
Inspiration can be hard to find, but sometimes it's only as far as a turn of the page. This tiny (4"x5") uplifting compendium offers quotes from more than 150 saints, dealing with many topics we face every day, including “Forgiveness,” “Suffering,” and “Gratitude.”

My thoughts:  What a lovely little compilation book!  My favorite quote listed inside is from St. John Climacus.  "If pride made demons out of angels, there is no doubt that humility could make angels out of demons."

What have you been reading?

;-)  -Marci
