Does anyone have Spring Fever besides me?
One of the activities at our grand daughter's recent 5th birthday party was stringing beads for either bracelets or necklaces. Look at that rainbow of colors! Y'all know I was right in the middle of that action, but was busy helping cute little fingers tie knots.
Green, Blue, Yellow, Repeat! |
These are the choices brought home, but I did not have enough for a bracelet all the way around my wrist. My craft room was raided, looking for filler options. Those seed beads in the photograph didn't work at all, as they were way too small, but I had plenty of other options!
Each time I see my bracelet, I will remember our sweet little grand daughter's colorful celebration!

I plan to wear my Spring Green Bling to farmers' market with a floral dress and cardigan just as soon as the temperatures allow!
Speaking of Spring, please come back Monday and join the fun as I co-host a link party all about the lovely upcoming season!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun, Marci! All the kids and grownups will remember this party! Stringing beads for bracelets and necklaces is very popular no matter where it's done. I took a class on beading while on a cruise and this is one of the items we made. It's a great way to meet people from all over!
