A Morning near the Mountains

One day in Colorado...

Handsome Husband was cooking breakfast and asked me to grab the camera.

From the back of our son's home, a hot air balloon could be seen floating in front of the mountains.

We took our coffee (and camera) to the patio and watched this lovely balloon move along.

What a perfect, quiet moment

for a morning on our vacation to Colorado.

  1. Marci! What an absolutely delightful site you have here! I'm so glad I found you after you found me via the Blogger's Pit Stop. So, should I be making a serious connection between your stone cottage in the Ozarks (yes?) and Laura Ingalls Wilder? Ignore this is you have no idea what I'm talking about...I'm a bit of a Laura fanatic. ;) Either way, I'm looking forward to following you from now on!

    2. Well, there you go: I believe we are kindred spirits. (Insert happy sigh.) Also, I had to stop over and thank you for the update on your pie crust project. I'm SO happy it worked out...thank you for taking time to tell me about it. Now my weekend is complete. :)

  2. Wow. What a view from your son's patio! I can just imagine the stillness and silence. We took a ride in a balloon once. Thanks for the memories.

  3. There’s nothing more beautiful than a stunning mountain range. I live at the foot of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Utah. I marvel at their beauty every day! Thank you for sharing at #BloggingGrandmothersLinkParty.
