I’m everyone’s darling; the blackbird and starling
Are shouting about me from blossom and boughs.

For I, the Lent-lily, the Daffy-down-dilly,
Have heard through the country the call to arouse.

The orchards are ringing with voices a-singing
The praise of my petticoat, praise of my gown;

    1. I'm sorry, Danni! All the daffodils were either here when we moved into the house or were gifts from friends. I don't know any of the hybrid names. -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

  7. Daffodils are so cheery but a little cheeky at the same time. My dad always planted them and I love to see abandoned rows of them out in a field.
