Can you beleive August has arrived? Kiddos will be back in school very soon! I thought you might enjoy this desk makeover.
Handsome Husband is awfully handy! Handy Handsome Husband! These desks were actually Christmas gifts for Mr. Big Stuff and his sister, Chubby Fashionista. Handy Handsome Husband usually makes at least one of their gifts.
They were found in horrible condition. Rotten, broken wood, chipped paint. Ick! ('Sorry, we did not take a "before" picture!)
Handy Handsome Husband removed all the wood. Then he used what was left of it for patterns and replaced all the wood. Stained and painted, I think the desks look great!
I love the stain he chose! Part of the wood had to be bent. I really don't know how he does that. 'Good thing I married him! He can build just about anything. Like I said, Handy and Handsome! ;-)
With one desk pink and one desk blue, it was time for gift giving!
I think Mr. Big Stuff likes his!
Thank you so much for stopping by our humble little blog! ;-) -Marci
