Can a fashionista have too many capes? I think not. A nice thing about capes is being able to bundle your sweetheart without tugging on their little arms.
It all began with a simple zebra cape. I used Simplicity 4434 for the pattern.
Being a bigger fan of hats than hoods, I added a snuggly collar to tie. (Not sure what happened to these two pix. 'Sorry for the wierd, grainy whatever it is.)
Measuring around the bottom of the cape, I added an eight inch purple band that was slightly ruffled. Long capes are nice for snuggling chubby legs!
Here’s the completed cape on the more cooperative model!
