Chubby Fashionista Zebra Cape

Can a fashionista have too many capes?  I think not.  A nice thing about capes is being able to bundle your sweetheart without tugging on their little arms.

It all began with a simple zebra cape.  I used Simplicity 4434 for the pattern.

Being a bigger fan of hats than hoods, I added a snuggly collar to tie.  (Not sure what happened to these two pix.  'Sorry for the wierd, grainy whatever it is.)

Measuring around the bottom of the cape, I added an eight inch purple band that was slightly ruffled.  Long capes are nice for snuggling chubby legs!

Here’s the completed cape on the more cooperative model!

Super cute, huh?  Yes!  A hat tutorial will follow!

Cold weather?  No worries!  We are ready for adventures!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing our joy!  ;-)  -Marci
