Literary Junkies!

It's time for Literary Junkies!  I hope you will participate by either answering some or all of the questions in comments below, or better yet, write a post and join the party!

Pink Heels Pink Truck
Here are this month's questions:

1. What are you reading? Tell us about it!  I just finished another one from the Mitford Series by Jan Karon!  When it was returned to the library a book by Pam Jenoff came home with me!

2. Do you find yourself reading more of a particular genre during the heat of summer?  We are so busy with gardening in the summer, it's hard to find time for the joy of books.  I do find notice myself cruising cook books and butterfly books and bird identification books, well, you get the idea!

3. Who are your favorite book villains (either to love or to hate?)  Cruella DeVil immediately comes to mind!  ;-)

4. If you could choose one author’s writing powers to harness, who would you choose and why?
Hmmm....  I just don't have an answer for this one.

5. Do you read one book at a time, or read multiple books at once?  Usually one at a time.

6. What are some of your favorite non-fiction books?  I find auto biographies absolutely fascinating.  I like to know the thought process behind big decisions of their lives.

    2. Do you find yourself reading more of a particular genre during the heat of summer? I like to read garden books, identification books, insects, flowers, and birds also!

    3. Who are your favorite book villains (either to love or to hate?) MORIARTY ...i LOVE TO LOATHE HIM.

    4. If you could choose one author’s writing powers to harness, who would you choose and why?
I DON'T KNOW IF I'D LIKE TO HARNESS IT...BUT I CERTAINLY ENJOY THE PLAIN AND SIMPLE WRITING STYLE OF Laura Ingalls Wilder. I just saw one of two books in her Little House Series that I haven't read... The Little House on the Prairie. (it wasn't included in my used set I purchase 4 summers ago) I have it now and was thinking of picking it up to read it this week.

    5. Do you read one book at a time, or read multiple books at once? I READ SEVERAL AT A TIME. Usually, on my Kindle. (I didn't think I'd like it...but I love that thing!)

    6. What are some of your favorite non-fiction books? I like reading Spiritual/Testimonial type books-- usually by Ministers of the Christian Faith. For example John Piper. I also like reading books on HOMESTEADING.

    THIS WAS FUN!
