My Second Stitch Fix

This post is W A A A Y overdue!  I've actually received my third Stitch Fix !  (No, I did not get paid for this post, but wouldn't it be cool if I did?  ;-))  For those of you that are new around here, Stitch Fix is a lovely way to purchase new clothes without actually shopping!  How cool is that?  Their site has a pretty in depth survey you complete about what you like to wear and your current needs.  There is also a spot to choose the price range you prefer.  A stylist then selects five items and mails them to you.  The things you like, you keep.  The others are mailed back in a return envelope included in your box.  Easy peasy!  All in the comfort of your own home!  In my survey, I specifically asked for business casual items.

So, here's what came in my second Stitch Fix box!  Two cardigans, a top, a pair of black skinnies, and an absolutely darling necklace.

What do you think of everything on the hanger?  'Gotta be honest.  I liked the two on the right.  The cardigans on the left were kind of puzzling to me on the hangers.  One of my favorite things about Stitch Fix is each item comes with a little card that gives two suggestions on how to wear it.

There is a casual option and a dressier option.  I REALLY need that kind of help!  ;-)

Trying to model this stuff for you guys always feels kind of awkward, but here goes!

Corinna Striped Heather Dolman Top.  Meet my new favorite shirt!  Heather gray always feels comfy to me, but the stripe makes it feel current!  Here we are going to yard sales with my sister.  I'm trying the messy tuck thing, but not sure it works for me!

We also go to work together!  'Love this top!  The fabric is snuggly soft and it has a nice, easy fit.  Definitely keeping this one!

Jayla Front Twist Sweater.  This light weight sweater is absolutely dreamy.  The fabric has an interesting open weave.  The funny twist thing in the front was confusing at first, but makes it look like a high low hem.  BTW, my tummy isn't actually lumpy.  I guess I should have taken a couple more seconds to tuck in my shirt.  Modeling is hard work!  ;-)

'Not a great photo.  'Sorry!   You can almost see the Posey Branch Bar Necklace in this picture.  It's a darling little gold branch, you know, like from a tree.  I love it!  'Keeping!

Alan Cowl Neck Asymmetrical Cardigan.  OK.  So, it took me a little while to figure out the zipper.  LOL!  Once I did though, I really like this cardigan!

The fabric is super soft.  The zipper gives it the weight to drape nicely and I love the pockets!  'Keeping this one, too!

And now we come to the black skinnies.  (SIGH!)  For those of you following my 20 Wishes progress, you know I have changed from a size 12 to a size 6 AND thanks to the type of workouts I'm doing, my shape is shifting, too.  Brands that used to fit well, no longer do.  Finding pants that fit feels super tricky right now.

Danny 5 Pocket Knit Pants.  They are a size 6 and they fit!  Whew!  Victory!  These skinnies are seeing my office at least once a week.  Oh, and if you like the blue summery shawl, it was one of my sewing projects in May!  You can read all about it by clicking HERE.

So, yeah!  I kept everything in my second Stitch Fix!  It was definitely a delightful experience not shopping, but getting new clothes!  ;-)  If I had been in a store, I might have tried the Corinna Striped Heather Dolman Top and the black pants.  The two cardigans would have never made it off the hanger!  Since they came to my house though, it was fun to figure out a zipper and a twist thing to give them a shot!  Now I have a couple of new looks and a little more confidence!  I'd like to send a big thank you to my stylist at Stitch Fix!  Thank you, Kate!

I love hearing your candid feedback.  What do YOU think?
