No Thank You

One of my favorite blogs is Healthy Helper.  Today, Kaila has taken on the writing prompt "No Thank You" and discusses some things she would rather not have in her life.  Her post then transitions to expressing gratitude for favorite activities, items and people with "Thank You, More Please".

I think both are wonderful writing prompts, but have limited myself to five for the "No Thank You" list.  In no particular order, this is what popped into my head.

Losing a Pet.
Driving in Roundabouts.
Mean Facebook Drama.
Judgmental Gyms.
Any Form of Cancer.

Going on Adventures with my Handsome Husband.
Long Conversations with our Adult Children.
Making Memories with our Grandchildren.
Women Encouraging Women.
I love it when we straighten each other's crowns!
Books.
Spray Paint.
Hot Coffee.
  Cold Sweet Tea.
Snuggling our Pets.
Fresh Vegetables from our Garden.
Butterfly Habitats.
Song Birds.
Scented Candles with a Hot Bath and Glass of Wine.
Paying It Forward.
Visiting with Neighbors.

What about you?  How often do you say "No Thank You"?  When do you express gratitude and ask for more?

  4. If you can't stand crowd then for sure get to event halls for rent here early to start off your night. Our group did this just a few days ago and quaffed down some tasty beers and ciders before making our escape to further escapades in the city.

  6. Marci, great lists. But no sugar in my tea, please, and no scented candles (allergic). (We hate roundabouts, too!)
