Custom Easter Baskets - Dollar Store Craft Challenge

It's time for another Dollar Store Craft Challenge!  If you would like to see my other ones from 2017, just click  HERE !  :-)

These plastic tubs measure 4 inches tall, but the bevel designs only leave space for vinyl in 1 inch increments.

'Kinda tricky.  {sigh}

Giving credit where credit is due, this project is completely our daughter's idea.  She sent me pins and purchased these inexpensive storage bins.  Using vinyl from my stash along with my DIY cutting machine, it didn't take long.

Our poor grandson is seriously out numbered with four sisters so I began with his Easter Basket.  He's about to be 12, so cute bunnies may not be for him this year.  Using black vinyl and some stars, his design stays simple and masculine.

The girls baskets, however, are pink, purple and pretty adorable!

Our daughter is very pleased with the results!  The kiddos always need storage space and cute ways to organize their bedrooms.

I am so thankful to my fellow bloggers for keeping these challenges coming!  They definitely give me all kinds of ideas and push me to try new things.  Each link is so inspiring!

Oh, and speaking of links, I'll be co-hosting a Spring Link Party next Monday.  I hope you have time to join us!

What inspires you?

  11. I have often seen these baskets at the dollar store but never considered personalizing them! We even have a lime green one that holds my husband's tools. The Easter basket idea for children is a perfect idea!
