April Harvest

 Yummy spinach!

 Tasty lettuce!

These were both harvested from the greenhouse.  A few things have been planted outside,

but we need our night temps to get a little warmer before we see much action there!  I'll keep you posted.

How is your garden coming along this year?

  1. Oh how lucky you are! I've planted some lettuce plants in my 'salad tub' on the back porch and some peas, kale and beet seeds. They are all up (but just barely!). Do you have some posts on your greenhouse? I'd love to have one built but want to learn more about them first.

  2. Wow, your greens look lovely Marci. This year I am determined to add some spinach into my smoothies for a dose of "iron" in the morning! Thanks for the inspiration :)

  3. yummmm! so healthy and fresh! we warmed up enough to plant our seedlings - a lot of unusual plants (for us) this year 'cause the grands got to choose what to plant. I can't wait to see how it goes this year with all the variety! I even had to add in two more squares they had picked so much stuff! What are you planting this year?

  4. We have a few tomato plants and yellow squash planted in straw bales this year. And a few pots with herbs like spearmint, rosemary, lavender and sage. Would like to build a raised garden bed but not sure if we will have the time. Your greens look awesome!
