Stitch Fix #5

Have you seen my first four posts about StitchFix?

Stitch Fix #1
Stitch Fix #2
Stitch Fix #3
Stitch Fix #4

It's a great way to buy new clothes without actually going shopping.  I know, right?  After completing an online questionnaire about preferences and current needs, five articles of clothing or jewelry are shipped to you.  In the comfort and privacy of your own home, try them on.  Mix and match with what's in your closet.  If you love it, keep it.  If not, ship it back.  You can keep or send back any number of items.

I get so excited each month when I open my box!  Here's what came in my StitchFix box this time:

On the left side of the collage, we have:
Collective Concepts McKinley Tie-Neck Short Sleeve Blouse
Collective Concepts Esten Button Up Sleeveless Blouse

On the right:
Pomelo Striped Jersey Dress
Susan Pintuck Detail Short-Sleeve Blouse

Not pictured:
Margaret M Emer High Wasted Cropped Trouser in Black

All items are definitely appropriate for our hot weather this time of year!  So, what do you like?  Do you see anything you would keep?

 Red, White and Blue!  ;-)

(Hair warning!  We are in the middle of the humid part of Summer.  My naturally curly hair is going to be big no matter what I do to it!)

I kept the Collective Concepts McKinley Tie-Neck Short Sleeve Blouse and wear it with white pants and green jewelry.  To me, it's more orange than red.  What color do you see?  Hmmm...  I think it needs a belt.

I love how ladylike the Susan Pintuck Detail Short-Sleeve Blouse feels.  It gets worn with a red tank and the Margaret M Emer High Wasted Cropped Trouser in Black.  I love the fit of these pants!

This time, there were three keepers!

My StitchFix stylist has totally nailed the pants in the last three boxes!  The fit has been great!

The other two items just weren't quite right.  The arm holes were a bit droopy on the Collective Concepts Esten Button Up Sleeveless Blouse.  I was thrilled to see the Pomelo Striped Jersey Dress.  It is so dern cute, but WAY too tight!  I love how they just hop in the provided bag and go back!  Easy peasy!

What have been your favorite things to wear this summer?  Are there any Fall trends that you are loving?

  1. How awesome that you lucked out on 3 items. I think the blouse is more a tomato red which has more orange in it. I rarely wear white - ever. I am sure to spill coffee or spaghetti within first hour I wear something white.
    Have a great weekend!

  3. You look great (as always)! Yes we sure are in the humid part of the summer here. Love that white shirt the best for sure! I am enjoying the comeback of fall plaid flannels and have already bought a few cute ones.

  4. What an interesting concept! I hate shopping for clothes, but I don't mind trying them out at home. I would keep all of those! :)

  5. I have read some about Stitch Fix packages, they sound like a neat thing to try. I like the while blouse and the knit dress very much. Looks like they sent you some great choices!

  6. Neat! I've never hear of that before. I really like all the shirts too. The orange especially. The color goes very nicely on you. So cute :)
