My New Office Space

My job is pretty fun.  Most of my work is done either onsite with my customers or in my car.  I get to buzz all over NW Arkansas and really enjoy it.  Of course I have days when I don't want to be a grown up and would rather stay home, but seriously, my customers are super cool and we live in a beautiful area filled with great people.

Sometimes I need to sit down with my laptop and get pesky desk stuff done.  Do all companies have conference calls?  I need a quiet spot for those, too.

No one will ever accuse me of being a decorator, but I am excited about my new home office.

It's tucked into a corner of our guest bedroom and begins with this desk, found at Target.  (You can see the desk arrived before the new paint.)

I love that drawer and those cubbies in the bottom for storage, but most importantly, it fits the tiny space I have for an office.

These prints and teapot were found at an interior consignment shop and super affordable.  Recycling is important, right?  I've had that little shelf  for.  ev.  er.  FOR.  EV.  ER.  It may be Home Interiors brand?  'Not sure.

This comfy chair was in the same little consignment shop and crazy cheap.  I like that it has a burlap feel and light finish.  I'm not a big fan of everything in a room being matchy-matchy.

The lower shelf was added to catch any clutter that needs to be within arms reach.  It was in my kitchen for ages and I'm not sure where it's from either.  'Might me At Home America?  Does anyone remember going to home decor parties or hosting them?

Anyway...  When I come home, this is where my laptop lands, freeing up the dining room table for, you know, meals and such.  ;-)  What have you been decorating?
