Garden Guest: Wren

The north side of our front yard is a certified  National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat.  Really!  We have a certificate!  You can do the same by providing food, water, cover and places for wildlife to raise their young.  It is so much fun to see all of the critters that stop by for a visit.  I have a series of posts to show you our Garden Guests.  If you would like to see more posts like this one, please hop over to my Garden Page.

There is an old milk barn on our property that we use as a garage.  For several years in a row, a family of wrens has returned to the same nest on one of the shelves.  Can you see the little cutie tucked inside?

Handsome Husband captured one of the tiny parents in these photos.  They seem to know we won't hurt them and allow us to be pretty close.

What's happening in your back yard?
