Do you enjoy friends and family stopping by your home unannounced?
No phone call or message.
They just want to see you and say "Hello".
This lovely Turtle Dove did just that to our chickens. We are not sure just how or where there is an opening into the pen. He/She (?) needed a little help from Handsome Husband to get back outside again.
He thoughtfully asked this blogger if I would like photos. ;-) Yes, of course I grabbed the camera. ;-) At first the dove was very still, but then flew into our large old oak tree.
All that was left was one soft feather floating to the ground.

Friends of the feathered type, yes. Because we live in a boat access only location our visitors are few and far between, but that's okay with us. - Margy
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I'm surprised he was able to hold it at all -- very thoughtful of him to ask if you wanted pics!
