Travels with Marci at Dry Fork

My full time job (besides blogging) has me on the road quite a bit these days, regularly buzzing around eight different counties here in Arkansas.  I am so very blessed to live in a beautiful area.  When something catches my eye, I snap a picture with my phone.  If this type of post is something you enjoy, there are more on the My Ozarks page of my blog!

I paused on Highway 412 to check email and couldn't resist using my camera for a minute.

Travels with Marci at Beulah Union Church

My full time job (besides blogging) has me on the road quite a bit these days, regularly buzzing around eight different counties here in Arkansas.  I am so very blessed to live in a beautiful area.  When something catches my eye, I snap a picture or two with my phone.

I love quaint old churches.  This one sits on top of a hill with an incredible view.  Can you see the barn to the left?

A Barn and Some Hay

My full time job (besides blogging) has me on the road quite a bit these days, regularly buzzing around four different counties here in Arkansas.  I am so very blessed to live in a beautiful area.  When something catches my eye and makes me smile, I snap a photo with my phone.  Do you mind if I share?  ;-)

For this shot, it's right behind the store at the corner of Highway 23 and Highway 12 between Eureka Springs and Clifty.

Where have you been lately?  What did you see?

Sentimental Photos

Have you noticed the date?  June has flown by just like all the other months.  Christmas will be here before we know it.

Speaking of Christmas...

Each year I give our children a copy of at least one photo that is special to our family.  It's been baby photos, family photos of us or older generations.

They love having these treasures passed down to them.  What should I choose this year?

After my husband's adopted parents passed away, their lovely farm was sold.  Just recently, the new owners dozed down the home.

Their barn is still standing even though no one is using it.  After asking for permission, I spent an evening there with our camera.

Handsome Husband built the door on the right.

The horses and saddles are long gone.

Even though it is in disrepair, our children will recognize any photo of it.

They've spent many hours on this piece of earth.

Running and playing and laughing.

Maybe one of these photos will be cherished by our children?  I'll have to choose one or make a collage?  ;-)  Which photo is your favorite?

Will you please come back tomorrow and join our Christmas in July party?  It will run the entire month.  New and old posts are welcome as long as they are family friendly.
