American Holly in Cut Bouquets

Who enjoys arranging lovely Spring bouquets?  This girl!

Here's a little tip for you!  If your garden has space for American Holly, you might want to consider planting it.  Holly is very long lasting when cut.

Here's my arrangement of sunny daffodils with American Holly.  This time of year, holly, cedar and pine are the few green options in my garden!

Faded daffodils were gently pulled from the vase and the water refreshed.  Notice the holly looks great!

Snow blew through our area this week, so my pretty daffodils are frozen and ragged.  I picked up an inexpensive bundle of mixed floral stems at my supermarket.  It only took a few minutes to cut them to size and tuck them in my vase with the American Holly.

Do you enjoy arranging flowers?  What are your favorites?

  1. Both those bouquets do look lovely. That holly holds up so well.
