My home state is so beautiful, even when the weather is feeling a little harsh.
We recently had the luxury of skipping out on work for a minute to enjoy a couple of nearby scenic highways. The day began drippy and windy, but as time went by, the sun was playing a game of peek-a-boo between the clouds.
The first photo was taken from an overlook on Highway 23 when the sky was overcast and gray. I think our rolling hills are lovely cloaked in fog. The next two shots were taken on scenic Highway 7 when sunshine chose to brighten our view.
