Here's the post that got me started on half of this journey

Watercolor Resist Bunny Painting

For the second half of this post, I had ordered all three Bible Illustrating kits from Day Spring called

Women of the Bible

which come with a free digital file.  (I did not get paid for mentioning Day Spring, but I really do love their products)

I printed the digital files, used carbon paper to trace bits onto the cards.  Next, watercolor resist filled it wherever I didn't want the base color.  Then colored pencils were used for details.

I plan to write letters inside and then mail the cards to members of my sisterhood.

Do you have a favorite?

If you can call what I do a "technique" and you'd like to see details, here are a couple of other posts that show step by step directions.

It's fun to look back at previous posts!  I think I'm making progress!

  2. Those are beautiful. If I had to pick a favorite I'd say the yellow flower. Pinned.

  3. I love the Love card, that's my favourite although they are all lovely. The watercolour resist technique goes especially well with a pretty handwritten effect font like this.

  4. Very pretty - love the one with the white flowers!

  5. These came out really lovely. I am a big fan of projects that have the finished results look much more complicated than the actual technique, and this one fits that category!
