Easter is less than one week away and I wanted to add something whimsical for our little ones! All supplies were already in my stash, so that means it was created totally for free, right? ;-)
To begin, white card stock was cut in 3 x 5 and 4 x 6 rectangles. For this project I attempted a darling sheep along with a couple of eggs and a bunny. I traced cut outs left over from last year's Freestyle Easter Cards with Matching Envelopes.
Water color resist is still difficult for me, especially dispensing in a consistent even manner, but each attempt is a little more steady. The water color choices were just whatever caught my fancy at the moment.
Meh...
I kind of like the bunny, but the others, not so much. Out came a yellow pompom, markers and colored pencils for a bit of touch up and more contrast.
Contrast is a good thing!
Next, they were strung on a rough textured ribbon with the bits left over from last year's Freestyle Easter Cards with Matching Envelopes using tiny clothes pins.

I love all the different colors and whimsical shapes! Our front window feels much brighter now!
I hope you and your family enjoy a lovely Easter holiday!

That makes a quick (sort of) and cute decoration for Easter. Since I don't have little ones, I don't do much more than eating a chocolate and caramel egg. - Margy
