This week I am participating in a pinterest challenge and a de-stash challenge. Two projects have been completed, but honestly, either would qualify for both challenges. They are from my pins and all supplies were already on hand.
These clever bloggers are joining me for the challenge!
Today's inspiration is Stuffed Easter Bunny Sewing Pattern from Positively Splendid by Amy Bell. I printed her pattern at 100%, 90% and 80% to get three slightly different sizes. Amy's adorable rabbits are white, and that was my original thought for color, but digging through my stash, these soft pastels in pink and blue were found first. The calico print was just begging to be used. Who can resist a chocolate bunny? Not me! The dark brown ones seriously make me smile!

Another difference is the tail. Amy made the cutest little yarn pom poms, but I was kind of lazy and just used cotton balls.
These darling rabbits whip up in no time at all. (It probably takes longer to stuff them than to sew them!) They were made for me to tuck around my Spring Decor, but I will probably have to make some for everyone's basket.
So far, I've sewn two in each color, gluing on their tails and tying a small bow of ribbon or lace around their sweet necks.
All supplies were from my monstrous stash. What's in yours? How are you going to use it? Let's see what the other participants found in their stash this time!
