Cubicle Sweet Cubicle - De stash Challenge Blog Hop

There are days we spend more time in our cubicles than we spend in our homes, right?

After sewing a MUG RUG for my daughter in vibrant colors, she asked if I could create something to hang on her cubicle walls.

When the colors in her office were discussed, she responded "blah".  She is a social services case worker.  I wonder...  Are all state offices decorated in "blah"?

My project begins with this dusty mess.  Ages ago, these frames were in my office, but now I work from my car, buzzing all around Northwest Arkansas.  There was a moment spray paint was considered, but once cleaned, I stayed with the black and bright colors already on the frames.  My plan is to compliment her MUG RUG.

Digging thru my monster pile of scrap book supplies, card stock and paper was chosen then cut to size.  Some of it was zipped thru my DIY cutting machine to create a few of our daughter's favorite quotes.  I hope you can see some dark smudges on the outer mechanism of the globe.  That was achieved with a dark purple stamp pad.  Do you recognize the "be the change" globe?  It was first used on this Upcycled Tote Bag project, also for our daughter.  Since that is the quote she chooses to live by, you just might see it again!  ;-)

I expect her to add photos into the "friends" frames, but did not want to give them to her empty.  A few of these luggage tags were snipped to give them a little life.  They were in my scrapbook stash, but I don't remember where I got them.

So, for this de stash, everything was already on hand, even the glue.  I've lowered my supplies by five dusty frames along with card stock, paper, a little stamp pad ink and glue.

Let's see what my fellow de stash participants are using!
