Custom Camper Kitchen Cloths - Dollar Store Craft Challenge

Say that three times fast!  ;-)  Custom Camper Kitchen Cloths

You are going to love this super simple project!

Once again, I have the honor of  participating in a dollar store craft challenge with these amazing bloggers.

Our neighbors recently purchased the cutest little travel trailer.  Ever since it was added to their family, I've been wanting to give a   house   camper warming gift.  They frequently hike and camp so all the cool equipment is already in the darling tin can.  That's where my inspiration begins.

Today, my project truly is $1 each.  Have you noticed the little packs of flour sack dish towels?  Anywhere, I've seen them, they are right at $1 per towel.  All I added was green and navy heat transfer vinyl that was already in my stash.

First of all the towels were washed and dried.  Don't you love the wrinkles in them?  So charming!  Then I opened the design tool for my DIY cutting machine and went a little crazy.  My idea was to create a couple pieces of subway art with an outdoor theme.  So.  Much.  Fun.  Well, when the navy sheet was being fed thru the machine, somehow it went a bit crooked.  (I'm still learning)  So, I salvaged what I could.

For me the ironing part takes a bit more patience than I really have, but I persevered!  ;-)  My photos were taken on a bright sunny and breezy day, so they are not that great, but I hope you can see the joy I felt creating them!

Our sweet neighbors were tickled to death with their Custom Camper Kitchen Cloths!

What would you design for a travel trailer?
