When they visit, cupcakes are usually requested. The only trouble with that is they each have a favorite kind. Being the coolest Nonna ever, it's important that everyone gets what they prefer.
My solution? Whip up a white or yellow cake recipe. Fill the cupcake tins 2/3 full. OK. Here's the magic trick! ;-) Squirt a little ice cream topping into each cup. It doesn't take much. I also add a few chocolate chips or nuts.

Strawberry Topping
Caramel Sauce with Pecans
As the cupcakes are rising, the sauces and toppings swirl into the batter.
The result? Happy Grand Ones!
What is your favorite cupcake?

Not fussy all cupcakes are good but the best are still warm from the oven.
