After checking the Hummingbird Migration Map I see they are W A Y past Arkansas already, but we haven't seen any yet!

I'm just curious.  Have you seen any Ruby Throated Hummingbirds this Spring?

  1. Never seen a hummingbird in my life but I don't think they come to us in Australia.

  2. Yes, we have! A few weeks back they started coming around. I am in SE Texas so the weather has been perfect. We had a few days where it was SUPER windy and they disappeared. We've seen them off and on since.

  3. Well, I have my feeder out and I did see a hummingbird this morning and yesterday morning. But from my point of view...I couldn't tell you if it were Ruby Throated or not. :/ Sorry. Not much help.
We are seeing the hummingbirds though. My grandson saw it and said.
'huh! did you see that, Oma? I think it was the toothfairy!'
Such an imagination-- I tried to correct him, be he was adamant about it. :)
