Other than THIS POST, I really haven't said much about our family's struggles this year. Thank you to everyone who has been offering prayers and positive light. We are very grateful. Knowing someone cared enough to pray on our behalf was incredibly helpful.
Our daughter's surgery lasted an hour longer than expected, but the surgeon is still giving a very hopeful long term prognosis of no recurrence. Our Pretty Girl has been steadily regaining her strength. Radiation is the last step toward kicking cancer to the curb.
We've almost made it through this process. I have to say though, this process is horrible. Cancer sucks.
Hug your healthy family members tight. If anyone is struggling, hug them a little tighter.
