Book Review: Around the World in 80 Trees

by Jonathan Drori

Illustrated by Lucille Clerc

Partial Synopsis from Bas Bleu:  Around the World in 80 Trees combines botany, history, mythology, even ancient medicine in a fascinating illustrated tour guaranteed to enlighten readers of every ilk!

My Thoughts:  One of the reviews for this book notes that it is "beautifully quiet" which I think is a perfect description. Like a soft breeze rustling leaves, these lovely pages bring their reader to a peaceful place of rest.  I generally read at bedtime anyway, so I loved drifting to sleep with the knowledge I had just gained about grand trees across the globe.

What have you been reading?
