Being part of our county's Master Gardener Speakers Guild is a lot of fun. My program is titled "Herbs: A Place to Begin". It is for anyone who might be curious about growing herbs or is just beginning to use them. I give simple advice for ways to incorporate tasty herbs into your every day life. After such a sweet reception to my presentation, I will be adding regular posts about herbs to my blog.

Garden Guest: Our Favorite Neighbor
The north side of our front yard is a certified National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat. Really! We have a certificate! You can do the same by providing food, water, cover and places for wildlife to raise their young. It is so much fun to see all of the critters that stop by for a visit. Children love it!

Garden Guest: Wren
The north side of our front yard is a certified National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat. Really! We have a certificate! You can do the same by providing food, water, cover and places for wildlife to raise their young. It is so much fun to see all of the critters that stop by for a visit. I have a series of posts to show you our Garden Guests. If you would like to see more posts like this one, please hop over to my Garden Page.
There is an old milk barn on our property that we use as a garage. For several years in a row, a family of wrens has returned to the same nest on one of the shelves. Can you see the little cutie tucked inside?

Tuesdays with a Twist - It's Time to Party!
Our news this week... The weekend was very relaxing. Saturday, we got the oil changed in one of our cars, had a couples massage, went to dinner and then slept. I think we were both needing a bit of quiet down time. Outside, lots of mowing and weeding needs to be done. I love being outside this time of year!

My New Office Space
My job is pretty fun. Most of my work is done either onsite with my customers or in my car. I get to buzz all over NW Arkansas and really enjoy it. Of course I have days when I don't want to be a grown up and would rather stay home, but seriously, my customers are super cool and we live in a beautiful area filled with great people.
Sometimes I need to sit down with my laptop and get pesky desk stuff done. Do all companies have conference calls? I need a quiet spot for those, too.
No one will ever accuse me of being a decorator, but I am excited about my new home office.
