Crocheting a Bear

Crochet is something I enjoy, but seldom get to.

I am especially proud of this little bear.  The pattern was part of a kit that was a gift to me at Christmas.

There are so many fun kits available.

Do you like to play with yarn?  What have you been making?

  1. What a cute bear. It reminds me that I should dig out my forgotton craft toy kit in the back of my knitting cupboard.

  2. I am embarrassed to say that I haven't done any craft projects in months. Maybe when spring arrives and I can go outdoors more to work at my picnic table. - Margy

  3. So cute. Your little bear is so adorable.
There's another blogger who crochets a lot, makes adorable little bears. Can't think of her blog name right now. She makes so many cute projects.
Wish I could still crochet but never made anything from pattern just scarves and afghans. Can't crochet any more due to arthritis in hands, shoulders and wrists and nerve damage from accident in 1998. Envy people and admire crocheters/knitters who can make wonderful things. I really miss crocheting.
Getting so is difficult and painful for me to type some days.
Do have loom I make things with, one of those long plastic ones. Would like to make afghan with it. Got so could make up my own pattern of stitches after playing with it.
Enjoy rest of weekend. How are you doing after your surgery?

  5. He's so sweet, crochet is a lovely craft to pick up now and again isn't it. Very portable and good for doing whilst watching tv too I find!
