You may have noticed my post about this darling BURLAP BUMBLEBEE . Well, when you find a little piece of heaven, you go back, am I right? And you might even grab your daughter and a friend to join you!

I'm speaking of The Creative Soul located in downtown Muskogee, Oklahoma. So, you can either place your order online or walk inside and make a choice. There are so many amazing options! The lovely owner, Hope, already has the proportions sketched so it's kind of like paint by number. The paints and brushes are well organized.
My sweet friend chose this adorable garden gnome!
I love the colors she chose!
Meanwhile, my gorgeous girl was next door at Lola's Living creating this pretty pumpkin. The center is decoupage and the side are painted. She also painted a canvas candy corn in these colors.
And here's my project! I love that after painting there's a table of doo dads and a couple hot glue guns to add bits of texture and dimension. How cute is that black felt rose?!
I've put together a simple vignette with pumpkins evermore as the centerpiece. You can see I'm not really a fan of spooky stuff. Most of this display will stay out thru November.
Let's see the other creations!

Love your pumpkin vignette including the black felt rose, Marci! It adds a lovely 3D effect to a beautiful piece! And crafting with friends and family is always a fun and enjoyable time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! Your vignette looks great with your sign.
ReplyDeleteYour painting is so pretty, and I love the bows and black roses you added. I love the ravens and pumpkins together. The gnome and pumpkin look great, too. I need friends to do crafty things with!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is very cute and festive for Halloween! I like the idea of it hanging from a dowel and the embellishments look great added, also.
ReplyDeleteLove your painting! We have a similar place in our town, but I haven't tried it yet. Looks like fun!
