Looking Back at Favorite Family Recipes

My favorite thing about blogging is meeting other bloggers and being challenged by their ideas.  One series of posts in 2017 was for Favorite Family Recipes.

I am such a sentimental person, I pulled handwritten recipes from our family folder.

It brought back so many sweet memories of these people as their recipe was scanned and shared.

I hope these Favorite Family Recipes will help you mix up some memories, too!  Here they are:

Buttery Cream Puffs

  What have you been cooking?

  1. This was a fun blog hop to follow! Loved that you used the original recipes. I have several recipes my mom and aunts wrote. So special! I think your applesauce cake recipe is almost the same as mine. Z

  3. I wish I had written down more of my grandmother's recipes. My aunt gathered a bunch of my mom's recipes and gave it to me as a gift one year. It is one of my favorite things. I baked a cake from it and made my mom's Portuguese soup.

  4. We're having chicken pot pie tomorrow night! I wish I had my memeres recipe for Macaroni and Cheese. I was the only in the family that liked the way she made it and she invited me over every time she was in the mood for it. I have so many fond memories of being in her kitchen and helping her out but I was too young to really remember what we used.
