Have you ever played Bunco?
My daughter is a member of a very casual group of players. When she hosted a Bunco game a couple of months ago, they needed a sub. I joined their group for the evening and had a wonderful time! When chatting about it with my dear friend, Anne, she said, "We should start a group!" Feelers were sent out to gauge interest and within a day, we had plenty of girls who were just looking for an excuse to party! 😏 I volunteered to host the first three months in hopes our little group would gel and continue. Anne and I decided it would be "Girls Only". Our first game was a big hit with plenty of players.
For snacks I chose a pie theme. Lemon Meringue Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie and Frito Pie. 😋 Everyone laughed and dug into the food! Being a horrible blogger, no photos were taken of the prepared nibbles. Hey! There's always next time, right?
Since this was our first game, I had the crazy idea to give everyone dice as a party favor. Here's where the Dollar Store craft challenge comes into my post.
Meet this month's co-hosts!
Have you noticed the price of Bunco games?! Depending on how "deluxe" you want yours to be, they can get pretty dang expensive! No, thank you! I was thrilled when I walked into my local dollar store and noticed dice were available 5 for $1. Yes, please! I bought them all. All. Of. Them. I also grabbed balloons, plates, super cute napkins
And some white favor boxes!
I stumbled across this darling FREE PRINTABLE which became our theme for the evening. My color printer died, but there's a ridiculously large pile of paper in my craft room. A lovely pink shade in a heavier weight paper was found and used for the FREE PRINTABLE. Next the favor boxes were folded and the shiny gold polka dot napkin was tucked inside for a bit of shimmer. Each one held nine dice and three pink balloons. White curling ribbon held on the pink tags.

For less than $3 each, these were lovely Party Favors for my sweet friends, The Bunco Beauties!
