Here's where we begin. With a scruffy, busted up, old skillet.
Meet this month's very talented participants!
My project is crazy simple.
First, my Thrift Store Find had a nice long ride in the dishwasher. It was pretty grimy when I found it. After that, all I did was create a cut file,
and stick it on the bottom of that scruffy skillet.
Choosing ribbon took forever. For. Eh. Ver. The decision was finally made to use orange with white polka dots sporting a raw edge and some thin burlap. The loopy bow whipped together quickly and was attached to the handle with floral wire.
My sister has been doing lots of painting. Her kitchen's accent colors will soon be navy and bright orange. This is my tiny contribution to her project!
One more time...

Very cute sign and a creative use of the old pan!ReplyDelete
Marci, this is the sweetest! What a clever idea! And I'm sure your sister will love it!ReplyDelete
What a fun gift for your sister!ReplyDelete
Ha, I had no idea where you were going to go with it when I saw the before! This is great, I bet your sister will love it. My sister only gets painting done when my dad or I do it for her, and she wonders why I don't have time to make her fun decorative stuff too, lol. PinnedReplyDelete
