Easy, Inexpensive Ant Bait Recipe

Ants are pollinators,  πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ  so I don't like being too rough on them. I only use this recipe when they are coming inside.   πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ

If ants start marching one by one through my home,  πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ πŸœ battle ensues.

I'd like to share a simple recipe.  Ants come running for this stuff, eat it, and take some back to their home. In just a couple of days, they will be completely gone.  It's super quick and crazy cheap.

Bonus:  You probably already have the ingredients!

Easy, Inexpensive Ant Bait Recipe

Equal Parts Borax and Sugar plus just enough liquid to make a paste.

Stir well. Place a spoonful in the ants' path.

This photo happens to be 1 teaspoon Borax, 1 teaspoon brown sugar and a capful of Sprite. The Sprite can be replaced with either maple syrup or molasses.  Regular granulated sugar works just as well as the brown sugar.  Just look at all those ants feasting away!

If you try it, please let me know how it works for you!
