My Life with The Ravens at the Tower of London
by Christopher Skaife
Yeoman Warder of
Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress the Tower of London

My Thoughts: Being a bird lover, I purchased this book for myself for Christmas. It's a fascinating look inside the daily chores and duties of someone who lives inside the Tower of London. The author speaks mostly about all the shenanigans of the sometimes mischievous resident ravens. There is a list of the top ten most frequently asked questions from tourists along with snippets of his life and career that led him to his most interesting job, The Ravenmaster. I definitely recommend this charming book.
What have you been reading?

Sounds good.
ReplyDeleteI either follow the ravenmaster on FB or IG. Its soooo interesting! I love Ravens anyway and will even be getting a tattoo soon of the same raven my mom has.
ReplyDeleteinteresting because I never knew this was a job but if you love birds, it must be a dream job! I haven't read many books for myself this year yet but I plan to read a few. Thanks for linking up with us at #OMHGWW and hope to see you next week.
