Granted, this cutie pie with a missing front tooth could pull off any look, but...
she really wanted a girl's shirt. Here's the story. After Thanksgiving Lunch at our house, or lil fashionista asked to spend the night. Of course we said "Yes" even though our granddaughter did not have a bag from home with her. Well, what she wore on Thursday had short sleeves and was not warm enough for Friday. Uh oh. I had planned to just wash her outfit and let her wear it again. With Black Friday being what it is, I did not want to run to any nearby stores. What to do?!
We rummaged thru the dresser and found one of her brother's plain T's that sort of fit and got creative! Working together, we designed a fairy, some butterflies and the word "believe" for a piece of dark pink heat transfer paper.
After giving my cutting machine and iron a bit of a workout, her brother will never want to wear that shirt again! ;-) (It was too small for him anyway!)
It turned out so well! Next, her design skills were focused on a small Christmas Tree!
Cute, clever, AND creative! We love having Lil Fashionista stay with us!

I hope you'll come back for the post that talks about where she wore it. We had a wonderful day!

Good morning. This t-shirt is precious. And your granddaughter is darling. We have a 5 year old granddaughter who would love that shirt. I'm so glad to have "happened" upon your blog. I live on the Little Red River in Heber Springs and am so happy to see a blog from Arkansas. I will be reading your archived blogs and looking forward to new posts.
