This beauty is a lovely vibrant coral
as it opens,
but fades in the warm Spring sunshine
to gorgeous softer shades of color
then to cream just as the petals start to fall.
Coral Charm's lack of fragrance is completely forgiven. It blooms profusely.
It's a perfect addition to any cottage garden.
What's growing at your home?

WOW!! Those are simply beautiful. I am so bummed, we have rose bushes that were planted at our house before we bought it. Just as they were blooming, we got hit with storm after storm and blew all the petals off. Never got to enjoy them more than 2 days.
ReplyDeleteI love peonies, and I miss having them in my yard. I lived most of my life in Virginia, and we had beautiful peonies in our yard. It was a joy to see them bloom in the spring and summer. They multiplied so profusely that I would dig up bunches of them and give them to my neighbors. Now, I live in coastal South Georgia, and peonies apparently do not grow well here. Your peonies are lovely! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am just a day or to away from some of mine blooming. I can't wait! I love yours, I am going to have to look for that variety, it is just stunning.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful pictures Marci! Peonies are one of my favorites!

ReplyDeleteWow these blossoms are spectacular. Peonies were my mother's favorite flower. I planted one a couple of years ago, but its so cold it hasn't started to grow at all yet. I cannot wait for them to be as pretty as these. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty! Your peonies are beautiful - we had peonies at the house we lived in before, and now we have lots of flower garden space so I'm hoping to set up out several different perennials, peonies among our favorites. Hope to catch up with you again this coming week at the link up! Nina @ Vintage Mama's Cottage
