My Thoughts: What a delightful little read! This was a gift for Christmas from my son and I loved it! Not only are there lots of helpful tips, there are also humorous quotes and charming illustrations. A lovely book for any gardener!

I'm not a gardener but who knows, could still decide to be one. Life not over yet even tho 75 I find myself becoming interested in different things as I age. This book sounds delightful and interesting. How lovely your son gave you that book, sounds like he knows his Mom.
ReplyDeleteGlad you shared about this book. Will have to look for it. My hubs might enjoy it also. He's not a reader but he has time on his hands in good weather and seems to enjoy working in yards. Who knows what we might both become. We live out in country, few miles west of Grand Junction, CO, have almost 1/2 acre and 5 chickens kept in back yard which we both seem to enjoy. Hubs was brought up on farm. Happy weekend
Sounds like a good book for me to read. If I wrote one it probably would just be titled "Error." Just kidding, but I have had a lot of those along the way. Right now I am reading "Buried in the Sky" on my Kindle about the disastrous 2008 climb on K2 and the Sherpas who survived. I've read several books about Everest since seeing the movie earlier last year and this one is similar. - Margy

ReplyDeleteI adore this title so much that I'd read it even though I'm totally not a gardener! :) I am reading an ARC of Mesu Andrews' next book, Miriam, right now. So far, I'm loving it!
