My New Stick Shift

This fun little spin on a wreath is completely inspired by Michelle at The Painted Hinge!  Her broom is absolutely adorable!

While it's not as cute as Michelle's, I think mine works great for an old rock farmhouse!  The base is just a pretty stick that fell from one of our big trees.  I like the funny forks at the top.

Using grass instead of ribbon along with some twigs, I pretty much followed her directions to create my new stick shift!  The grasses have turned gray and curly.

What will you be driving on Halloween?

  2. Hi Marci, I love it here. Great recipes, sewing, crafting and gardening tips. of course most of your gardening is going to be much different than here. We live in the desert area of Washington state. If it were not for irrigation we could not grow anything:) I have been following your blog for a long time now, but I don't always leave a comment. Oh, love, love, love the little girl dresses and tutus :) My favorite nephew lives in Mountain Home, are you near there? They love it there. His wife loves fishing and they have a deck where you can sit and literally see deer and other wildlife all the time.
I want to invite you over to visit and hopefully you will decide to follow me back. I have met the nicest people through blogging. I'm a retired grandma and I don't get out like I used to, so blogging has become a way to share ideas and make new friends.
    Have a lovely day.
