It all started with this wonderful $4 find at a Thrift Store. I love the funky fabric! Aren't these bold swishes of color great?!
For me, it's a little too long to be a tunic, but way too short to wear as a dress. AND...
This tank top had been hanging in the back of my closet, seldom worn because it never quite fit right. But, again, what a great color!

The bottom of the tunic was cut away and hemmed to make a top for me.
Using this FREE Peasant Dress Pattern from Once Upon a Sewing Machine, I used the tank top and scraps from the tunic to make a darling top for Lil Fashionista!
