Word of the Year { S T R E T C H }

 

 

Before we talk about my new inspiration for 2014, let's go back to 2013!

 

Here is last year's word, GROW, hanging in my craft room surrounded by lots of messy projects.  Are creative people obligated to be tidy?  I don't think so!  ;-)  GROW appeals to me both intellectually and as a gardener.

 

And now for 2014...

extend by force: to lengthen, widen, or extend something, or become lengthened, widened, or extended, especially by force

 

expand and regain original shape: to be capable of expanding and returning to the original shape afterward

 

extend excessively: to extend something excessively so that the shape is permanently altered, or be extended in this way

 

 Synonyms: give · bounce · spring · elasticity

I created this little catch phrase and love it!  It is framed and placed right by my bedroom door where I see it often!

 

 

Have you seen my list of 20 Wishes, the things I want to accomplish in 2014?  Well, I'm hoping to build new skill sets on several different levels.  If those get accomplished, my vision of myself will definitely be stretched!
