Warm Your Day with Fire Crackers

'Need a little spice in your life?  Check out these crackers.  They have just enough heat to warm your day.  Today we had them with Cheesy Ham and Potato Soup.
I'm not  sure how this recipe came to our family, but it's one of our favorites.

Fire Crackers

1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Package Ranch Seasoning Mix
1 Tablespoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 Box Saltine Crackers

Get out your largest bowl that has a lid.  Place the oil, seasoning mix and pepper flakes in the bowl and stir.

To me, it is easier to add one sleeve of crackers at a time.  Add a sleeve of crackers, toss gently to coat, add the next sleeve, toss gently, repeat.

It is also effective to turn the bowl upside down and shake gently.
I think these taste better if they sit over night, but they seldom last that long.
Notice the fingers in the bowl?!

Oh, well!  That's what I made them for!  Stay warm!  Share joy wherever you go!
